- I.T.R. / PMC - Integrated Tissue Recovery with Positive Motion Concepts ©™ - Adventure Chiropractic - Dr Chris BrunoMy assessment and work with a client, whether spine or extremity related has motion at its core. Motion results from the culmination of:
Nerve flow (The brain, telling muscles to move and the muscles and joints respond, telling the brain how where and how much to move. Range of Motion]) The tone or health status of the muscle itself The health and elasticity of the joints and surrounding tissue components (ligaments, capsule, and tendons). When imbalances or restrictions are detected, I employ specialized soft tissue techniques to restore motion and control. This includes decreasing adhesions and/or scar tissue in the area, encouraging the flow of the nervous, blood, lymph systems and enhancing the muscle and brain communication. (NMR neuromuscular re-education). The restricted joint is encouraged with stretching and/or adjustments to help restore lost motion. The typical results are enhanced symmetry, strength, stability, and ease of motion.
